Other Conditions and Restrictions
Feeding your dog correctly is one of the most important things you can do, and it will help to reduce your dog’s risk of developing hip dysplasia.
*Feed your puppy a quality dog food for large breed puppies or large breed dogs. Too much or too little protein is not good for your growing puppy.
*The dog will be kept at proper weight and never allowed to become over or under weight. Puppies should be lean. If you can’t feel the ribs of your little one, you are feeding too much.
*The dog will have water available at all times.
Exercise is also an important part of your dog’s day.
*Your puppy needs to be active, but keep your puppy from engaging in sustained exercise or extensive play which can occur during games like ball throwing. Too much stress on a growing skeleton can lead to hip problems or arthritis on the joints later in life.
*Sustained exercise like jogging with owner, pulling weights, (mushing) running with owner on a bike should be avoided until the puppy is at least one year of age if not later.
*Stressful activities like Frisbee or agility that require jumping should be avoided until the puppy is at least two years of age.
The dog will be given adequate and proper shade and housing.
The dog shall not be mistreated or neglected in any way.
The dog shall receive adequate and proper veterinary care and all inoculations must be maintained and up to date.
The dog shall not be allowed to run at large in the community.
If any of the principles listed in this contract are not followed, this contract is null and void.
Our Welcome Home Policy
The seller gives the purchaser a welcome home policy on all dogs. If, during the lifetime of your dog, you decide for any reason not to keep the dog or find a good home for the dog, we request that you return the dog to Noble Golden Retrievers. We will provide an appropriate home as mentioned above for the dog until we find the dog a new suitable home. All AKC paperwork must be returned. This return offers no financial obligation by Noble Golden Retrievers to reimburse the buyer for any or all expenses in relation to the puppy; it simply provides an adequate home if you are unable to continue providing such for the puppy/dog. This puppy/dog should never be surrendered to a rescue organization or a shelter. The guarantees of this contract are non-transferable and apply to the original purchaser only.
