We have limited space available on Lucy’s list. If you are interested in a puppy, please email me at christine@noblegoldenretrievers.com for more information.
A $500 deposit may be paid in person, by check, through PayPal, or Venmo to hold your puppy until he/she is ready to take home. The balance is due by cash or bank/counter check when the puppies are 8 weeks old, or by personal check one week before you pick up your puppy.
We will place your name on a waiting list and hold your position without a deposit until the pregnancy is confirmed. When the pregnancy is confirmed; the $500 deposit is required to hold your position on the list. This allows us to give potential puppy owners the correct order of choice information. Once we receive your deposit, your pick is in the order that you were placed on the list; 1st choice male, 2nd choice male, 1st choice female, etc. Please contact me to be placed on our puppy list or with any questions, we are always happy to help.
We welcome you to meet the parents, please email me to make an appointment.
Puppy Visits and Pick Up:
We will send pictures when the puppies are born and weekly as they grow. For the welfare of our puppies; we don't schedule visits until the puppies have had their first vaccinations at 6 weeks of age. We give you the approximate Birthdate of the puppies when our female is bred, and again when the pregnancy is confirmed for planning purposes. The gestation time is 63-65 days; the puppies will be 8 weeks old when they are ready to go home. We will schedule visits when the puppies are 6 weeks old in the order that you were added to the list. We will try to work with you when scheduling visits; keep in mind that other families are excited and waiting to choose their puppy as well. We expect to meet you in person when the puppies are 6 weeks old unless you have previously visited; or we have made other arrangements. Visit and pick up dates are determined by the age of the puppy. If you have conflicts with the 6 week visit; please let us know in advance and we will arrange a time to meet. We allow a 3-4 day pick up window when the puppies are 8 weeks old. If you have conflicts with the pick up date/time window; your puppy will automatically be enrolled in the puppy academy for the days that go over the pick up time. We will continue to feed, clean, train, and care for your puppy until you are able to pick him up at the current daily puppy academy rate.
Puppy Delivery:
We have offspring across the United States and Canada (from Montreal, Canada to Southern Florida and from Martha's Vinyard, MA to Monterey, CA). Most of our families plan a road trip or arrange to "carry on" their puppy when flying is necessary. Visit this Delta link for information about pets traveling as a carry on. We will deliver puppies within 500 miles of our home for $1.25 per mile; please contact us for details. In some very rare instances; we will ship a puppy with a Puppy Nanny (depending on our availability). This is only to families who visit in person prior to shipping; and only after the puppy turns 8 weeks old as per US flight regulations. Visit Delta to read about US safe shipping rules and regulations here.
All Breeders must comply with the November 18, 2013 Animal Welfare Act. Breeders who ship a puppy sight unseen are not in compliance with government policies.

Ethical Breeders
Breeding is a very complicated and serious decision; an ethical breeder will research pedigrees and analyze what can be expected from a certain set of characteristics to try to improve upon their own dogs as well as add to the breed as a whole. Responsible breeders have a goal they breed towards; they do not breed just to see what will be produced. They have a working knowledge of the genetics behind the dogs (colors, health issues, temperament, etc.) they will test breeding dogs for hereditary issues such as Hip Dysplasia; and they will only place their dogs in healthy, happy, suitable homes. Because of the intense knowledge and dedication it takes to breed appropriately, ethical breeders will sell their puppies with limited registration. Limited registration means that the dog is registered but no litters produced by that dog are eligible for registration. Your dog is eligible to be entered in Obedience, Tracking, Field Trials, Hunting Tests, Herding, Lure Coursing, & Agility. If you are an experienced show home and you wish to compete in Conformation Competitions or you are an experienced breeder; please contact me by phone and we will discuss your show experience and/or breeding program. If you do not show in conformation competitions and you are not an experienced breeder; full registration is unnecessary and would only be detrimental to the breed.
Puppy Contract - For your convenience, the Puppy Contract is filled out and ready for signatures the day you pick up your puppy. This contract protects the buyer, the seller, and the puppy. Please take a look at our contract and make sure that you agree to the terms of our contract. If you don't want to vaccinate your dog against serious disease and illness, we encourage you to find a breeder who doesn't vaccinate their dogs. We believe in vaccinating our dogs; when you sign our contract you are agreeing to vaccinate your puppy for his/her lifetime.
Your Puppy will go home with a puppy packet which includes the Puppy Contract, the Health Contract, the Vet check/shots/health information, the registration paperwork for you to send in to the American Kennel Club, training information, breed information, and a toy, towel, or small blanket with the scent of his/her litter mates on it.
